Smart has done it again. Following the widely acclaimed Smart
ForSpeed concept shown at Geneva, the Smart ForVision concept takes the
bar even higher. This time the idea was to celebrate the fact that
Smarts are traditionally fabricated from plastics. The respectable part
was that Smart chose to celebrate this rather than hide this, and they
did this by tessellating the door in a pattern that is only possible
with plastic. Another plastic-specific design feature was the door
handle, which would be impossible to create in sheet metal. A great
design powered on by a great thought. Bravo !
