The legend has been redesigned, and
pretty well, we must say. The DC100 and the DC100 Sport are meant as
revivals of the now aging Defender line-up. The Defenders have been
around since 1948 and are now synonymous with go-anywhere, do-anything
vehicles. One of the first true-blooded off-roaders, the Defender has
received numerous technical as well as design upgrades over its
lifetime. But none as substantial as this. The interesting touches here
include the unlikely forward leaning stance (unlikely for LR that is),
the DRG and most notably the door shutlines with mirrored door handles
and airvents on either side. Besides this sits the DC100 Sport which is
the DC100 in a more fun-loving, speedster garb.
